Is there something that evokes a sense of intense fear in you? If so, you may have a phobia. Phobias are irrational reactions to certain triggers, and as such, they can be quite agonizing. While technically one can be afraid of anything, some of the most common phobias involve specific situations such as flying, certain animals, or the prospect of becoming terminally ill.
